That’s right, don’t blink. Oops, you already did, didn’t you?
Literally, one moment you are a complete zombie wearing a 3-day-old t-shirt with spit-up on it and you can’t even complete a sentence or mumble any sort of coherent human interaction because you are so sleep-deprived from the NO SLEEP inducing infant you’ve created.
Then, oh the toddler years. Yeah, these are soooo FUN. Little packages of power-packed cuteness that morph immediately into tasmanian tornadoes wreaking havoc on your home, your family, your sanity. Wait, that’s if you have any left.
And then you blink. (Or you shut your eyes just praying for a bit of sleep).
Now they are tweenagers.
It happens in a moment, I promise you. And that’s why it matters to breathe in every moment (between sips of wine, of course, duh).
